LOCAL voters have been left confused by Government sponsored billboards across the district urging them to vote in the local elections.
The poster campaign is aimed at voters across the country who went to the polls today (Thursday) but does not include the Lancaster and Morecambe district which will hold city council election next year.
One confused voter called the Citizen to say: "The billboards are expensive to use so as well as being confusing for local people it's also been a complete waste of tax payers money."
