Lowick Parish Council and the Campaign Against Wind Turbines on Lowick Common have organised a campaign meeting to rally against revived plans for wind turbines near the Furness village.
Ecotricity, the sister company of the firm which lost a planning appeal to install one 65-metre high turbine on Lowick Common in 2001, has applied again for two wind turbines this month.
The campaigners will meet on Thursday at the Lowick Sunday School Room at 7.30pm.
