IN JUST over two weeks from now, Staveley Village Hall will see the return of the health and beauty show and it's grown!

So successful was it last year that not only will we see the work of Barbara Uttley and Harmony slimming club once again ' weighing in the brave' with her amazing recipes and hints for diet and fitness (introductory offers handed out to new members), but also the return of Nelson's David Burt, who will be giving a talk on homoeopathy and flower remedies.

Sheila Mitchell, of Mary Kaye, will choose willing volunteers for make-over, while displaying the product range at vastly-reduced prices.

Registered Feng Shui consultant Joanna Greenway will be talking us through the benefits of Feng Shui in the home, including water features.

Howbarrow Farm, from Cartmel, will be mixing up magical tinctures from organic herbs such as St John's Wort and Echinacea as medical remedies, home-grown on their own 15 acres.

Liz Adams, who has recently opened the extension to her New Look hair salon in Staveley - the Health & Beauty Studio - will be demonstrating with haircuts, styling and beauty treatments.

Fay Bailey will once again be talking about Reiki and the benefits of self-healing.

Barbara, along with the ever-enthusiastic Ivy Wood, has pulled out all the stops this year with support from Staveley pharmacist John Wood.

Entry is only £2 with everyone receiving the usual abundance of goodies in their booty bag.

Refreshments will keep you going from light lunches to home-made cakes.

For a fab day out guaranteed to pamper, relax and hopefully inform you of a healthier lifestyle, or just for a bit of fun, head for Staveley Village Hall between 10am and 4pm on Sunday, September 23.

Anyone interested in attending the show as an exhibitor should call Barbara on 01539-722568.
