A MILITARY musician from Bowness played a significant role at this year's Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
Euphonium player, Brenda Marshall, represented the Band of Royal Irish Regiment at the annual tattoo.
Miss Marshall, who is 25-years-old, joined the Army in 1993 and is based in Northern Ireland.
One of the few women in the military band, she has performed in the Falkland Islands, France, Germany and Belgium.
