STEVE Bell was elected club captain of Windermere Golf Club at the annual meeting.
Mr Bell joined Windermere in 1987 and has served on the general committee and has been chairman of competitions and handicaps.
He works at the Kendal branch of HSBAC.
John Humphries was elected vice-captain.
