A NEW dog waste bin is set to be installed on Springbank, Silverdale.
Parish councillors decided that dog fouling was more of a problem in this area of the village, and decided that the most appropriate site for the bin provided by Lancaster City Council would be near the lamp by the gate in the old cricket field.
The council is to approach the Silverdale Institute to see if this proposal is acceptable.
