THE 2001 edition of the Lake District Peninsulas Visitor Guide was launched at the Abbey House Hotel.
The Visitor Guide is used to draw visitors to the area and to encourage them to stay overnight.
Demand for the guide last year led to stocks running dry by the end of August and a reprint of a further 3,000 was necessary.
This year's print levels were increased by 10,000 to 60,000 copies.
The front cover shows Piel Castle which was chosen to highlight the coastline and heritage that many visitors are not aware of.
