JEWELLERY dating back as far as the 17th centruty were one of the main attractions at an antique fair in South Lakeland.
With more than 70 stalls to chose from members of the community flocked to Kendal Leisure Centre and packed the main hall.
Centre manager Paul Stewart said: "The fair was extremely popular.
Because only quality antiques were allowed, the hall was busy throughout the day."
Fair organiser Colin Caygill said: "With dealers in high class furniture, ceramics and jewellery present I was confident it was going to be a success.
"However, it is always good to get such positive feedback from both buyers and sellers."
The next antique fair at Kendal Leisure Centre is on Sunday April 8.
