WATERCOLOURS of the River Kent estuary and a winter scene near Kendal are among six works submitted by artist Alan Paynes, of Kendal, to a major exhibition in Ilkley.
Retired teacher and professional artist Mr Paynes is a life member of the Cotswold Art Club.
The British Society of Painters' spring exhibition, in Ilkley, runs from March 10 to 18.
