SOUTH African Test player Pieter Strydom, who was appointed Netherfield's new professional last November, has been skippering Border in State games and he returned an eye-catching 6-23 with his slow left-armers recently.,

Strydom, 31, better known as a batsman, played in the three Millennium Tests against England last year and has played 10 times in all for his country and has a top Test score of 34.
