EX-ENGLAND cricket captain Mike Gatting will be in Kendal when he is the special guest for an evening entitled Faisalabad to Shap Road at Kendal Cricket Club on Saturday, February 10.
Faisalabad was where Gatting had his famous head-to-head headline-making disagreement with an umpire.
Tickets are priced £10 adults, £5 under-16s and are available from Kendal CC 724269 or Tony George 727514.
Earlier in the day, Gatting and ex-Lancashire skipper John Abrahams will conduct a Cumbria Cricket Board course for qualified coaches entitled 'Batting on a Turner' (cost £ 15).
The course which runs at Keswick School on Saturday, February 10 runs from 11-4pm.
Another course by Shane Warne's coach Terry Jenner on 'The Mysteries of Leg Spin' will take place at the same venue on March 21, 7-9pm (£10 cost).
Weekend refresher courses for coaches are planned for October 6 and 7 (£24 for both days).
