Lindy Heymann’s low-budget thriller is a cautionary tale shot on location in Liverpool, about two teenage girls who let their fixation on a Premier League footballer spiral out of control.
15-year-old Nicole (Kerrie Hayes) is ignored by her mother so the youngster seeks solace in posters of dreamy striker, Lee Cassidy (Jamie Doyle).
Waiting outside Anfield to get a glimpse of the player, Nicole meets rich girl Jasmine (Nichola Burley), who shares the fascination with Lee.
The girls become inseparable and when they learn that Lee is due to leave Liverpool for Read Madrid, they engineer a meeting with the object of their affections and take him back to the dockside portable cabin owned by Nicole’s brother, a soldier who is fighting behind enemy lines.
The star athlete faces a fight of his own - for his life - when the girls take him hostage.
