64 players, 1 frame, 10 minutes, 20 seconds… the clock is ticking

Snooker Shoot Out is a chance to see 64 of the world’s top snooker players in one place, racing against the clock to win the first ever Snooker Shoot Out trophy.

Created by World Snooker Chairman Barry Hearn, Snooker Shoot Out will see legends Ronnie O’Sullivan, Stephen Hendry, Jimmy White and current World Champion Neil Robertson take to the table to show off their lightning-fast potting skills.

The innovative tournament promises snooker at full throttle, with frames having a time limit of ten minutes, plus a shot clock of 20 seconds for the first five minutes and 15 seconds for the last five minutes. The winner of each match goes through to the next round and doubles the prize money with the winner going home with £32,000. Miss Blackpool and her girls will be adding to the glamour of the event and escorting the players to the table.

Snooker Shoot Out is taking place at Circus Arena, Blackpool Tower from January 28 – 30, 2011. The three-day event will be split into five sessions and broadcast live on Sky Sports. The knock out rounds will take place on January 28 at 6pm, January 29 at 12pm and 6pm and January 30 at 2pm. The final will take place at 7pm on Sunday, January 30.
