POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an accident near Ulverston.
At about 4.50am on Monday, October 3, a black Vauxhall Astra left the eastbound carriageway on the A590, close to Barkers Timber Merchants, near Backbarrow.
It rebounded off the crash barrier and ended up on the other side of the road.
The 23-year-old male driver was uninjured.
