MUSICIANS at Kirkbie Kendal School turned up the heat during the pre-Christmas blast of chilly weather with a festive concert. Before a large audience musicians Emily Abbott, Luke Gudgeon and Alex Carlton were among the performers who shook things up with a Nirvana and Michael Jackson medley dubbed Smells like Billie Jean. School band Funky Futures also performed their version of Nutbush City Limits by Ike and Tina Turner before every performer came together for a rendition of the latest X Factor single, Cannonball.
