Kendal Amateur Athletic Club picked up an array of trophies at the Mid Lancs Cross Country Presentation.

First places were awarded to the Under 13’s Girls team and Dianne Priestley in the V65 category.

Individual silver awards were handed to Sophie Cowen, Under 13’s.

James Bowen, Under 15’s, also picked up silver as well as Lilian Lewis, Under 17’s.

Additionally, Pete Ion, V70, and Alasdair Russell, Senior Mens, were awarded second place, with Rosie Woodhams, from Under 20’s winning silver too.

This was Woodham’s first season in the Under 20’s and she will now be able to compete with the senior women.

In addition to this, the Under 13’s Boys gained silver, as well as Ion and Pete Mitchell in V70 category.

The Women’s Team also finished second in V35 and V45.

Unfortunately, the Under 11’s Boys missed out on a top three place, finishing in fourth.

The presentation was planned to take place at Blackburn’s Ewood Park, but was instead held at a motorway services where Mid Lanc’s secretary Dawn Lock and Kendal AAC coach Steve Priestley were present.
