KENDAL'S young England cricketing star is set to showcase his talents on a bigger stage domestically and overseas.

Kendal Cricket Club's Tom Aspinwall, who shone for England Under-19s as they reached the final of this year's World Cup in the Caribbean, was last week awarded a rookie contract with Lancashire Cricket Club.
