RETROSPECTIVE plans to convert a stable and kennels into a holiday bungalow in the north Lancashire hamlet of Tatham have been rejected.
Applicant Michael Harrison was also denied planning consent for two extensions added to the single-storey building at Green Farm, Mewith Lane, in the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The decision was made by Lancaster City Council's planning and highways regulatory committee.
Tatham Parish Council had also objected, and questioned the need for tourism accommodation in Tatham.
