A FESTIVAL of Christmas Trees lit up a north Lancashire church at the weekend.
The event at St Oswald’s Parish Church at Warton helped raise money for charities and voluntary groups as well as church funds.
Various organisations decorated trees, while others wrote the names of loved ones who have died on stars to be hung on a remembrance tree.
Father Damian Porter, Vicar of Warton, said: “The festival brings together many people of good will from our local community.
“It is a real celebration of lots of wonderful work going on both locally and further afield, and it is a really wonderful lead up to Christmas.”
