AMBLESIDE United Reserves progressed to the quarter final of the Westmorland Benevolent Trophy with an easy 7-2 triumph at Penrith Rangers.
They will take on the winners of the Greystoke versus Lunesdale United tie, which takes place on January 5.
In Division Two of the Westmorland League, Langwathby United and Keswick Reserves shared the spoils in a 3-3 draw.
Both sides remain fourth and eighth respectively.
Kirkby Thore Rangers moved up to second in Division Three after a 2-0 victory at home to Burneside Reserves, while Kendal United Reserves are two points clear at the top after beating Braithwaite 3-0.
Kendal Celtic Reserves defeated Greystoke in an entertaining 7-3 success.
Dent moved up a place to eighth in Division Four after a comfortable 4-0 triumph at home to basement club Ullswater United.a
