KENDAL Town Ladies won their third straight game as they solidified their fifth placed position in the table following a 7-1 home success over bottom side Leigh RMI Ladies.
Kendal took control of the game from the whistle putting on a show for the 50 home supporters who were all in great voice throughout the match.
The management team gave some of their younger members a start as Lauren Downham opened the scoring with a well taken move.
Joanne Thompson then banged in a quick fire hat trick as Kendal cruised into a 4-0 lead and, despite Leigh getting a goal back, pretty much cruised the half with Jodie Moncur scoring a debut goal.
The second half was equally as dominant as Downham scored her second to make it 6-1, before Sarah Earl scored her first goal for the team.
The referee chose debutant Katie Ireland as his man of the match..
The Ladies now have two weeks off before they host Woolton on Sunday November 30 in the NWWRFL Cup Competition. 2pm kick-off and admission is free.
