SIX seasoned endurance athletes are to attempt a "Ten Marathons in Ten Days" challenge for a place in the Guinness World Racords book.
The runners will use the course for the Brathay Windermere Marathon in the run-up to the race and on the day of the race itself, Sunday May 20, to tackle the challenge.
Among the challenge runners will be Brathay Hall Trust fellow Sir Chrisopher Ball, a 72-year-old marathon veteran who did seven races in seven days in 2004.
