The second week of The South Westmorland Senior Bowling League proved to be entertaining, with a lot of competitive matches taking place.
In Division One of The Senior League, Netherfield A climbed to the top of the table after a comfortable 8-0 win at Burneside.
Silverdale A also won their second straight game as they defeated Springifeld A 7-1. The result leaves Siverdale just two points behind Netherfield.
In the other games Bolton-le-Sands edged home to a 5-3 win over Kirkby Lonsdale A, while Levens A defeated Warton A 6-2.
Netherfield B picked up their first win of the campaign after a good 6-2 victory over Holme A. While Lindale A won 5-3 at Lower Holker A.
Windermere A opened an early three point advantage at the top of Division Two as they won 7-1 at Arnside A.
Crosthwaite A defeated Subscription A 5-3, while Warton B defeated Heversham A 6-2. There were also wins for Endmoor A and Bowness A In Division Three Sedbergh B sauntered past Subscription B with a 7-1 win. Lindale B also won by the same score as they defeated Burneside B.
Staveley A saw off Victoria 6-2, while both Springfield B and Lower Holker B won 5-3 in their respective games.
The biggest wins in Division Five came from Kirkby Lonsdale and Langdale B as they both won 7-1 in their respective games.
Their were also wins for Allithwaite and Crosthwaite B, while both Hawkshead and Silverdale B drew 4-4.
