WINDERMERE produced arguably their best performance of the season as they swept aside fourth-placed Carlisle Crusaders 41-8 at Dawes Meadow in Cumbria Division Two with captain Jonathan Benson scoring two tries.
Their other scores came from Phil Murphy, Dan Harrison, Neil Piggott and Glen Meschino, while Bertie Hodgson kicked 11 points.
After the game skipper Benson and chairman Tim Wragg presented Stacey McShane of main sponsor The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction with a framed shirt in recognition of their continued support.
