RICHARD Noble won the prestigious Underhill Cup competition after he defeated Peter Strickland in the final at Abbot Hall Bowling Club.
The competition which has been played for since 1972 provided plenty of action on what was a good Saturday of bowling at Abbot Hall.
Noble reached the final after he defeated Roy Taylor 21-7 while John Strickland won the other semi final 21-15 when he battled past Peter Blamire.
