Norman Kinley Doubles Bowling Competition
Steven Carruthers and Jane Glaister won the Victoria Bowling Club Norman Kinley Doubles Competition after they defeated Carl Dobson and John Taylor 21-8 in the final.
Both Carruthers and Glaister reached the final with a hardfought 21-17 victory against Alan Gilpin and Martin Gilpin.
Dobson and Taylor progressed when they edged out I Mitchell and G Barnes 21-20 in a dramatic semi final.
The competition proved to be a success with over 33 participants taking part on a busy day of bowling action at Victoria Bowling Club.
