BEN Hodgson led the way for Kendal Triathlon club members who took part in Capernwray triathlon.
Hodgson, running in the 35-39 category, had a great run to come fifth overall in 1:00:02.
But the biggest achiever of the night was Peter Bascombe who complete his first triathlon after a whole season of trying and bad luck.
It was also great to see Pete Robinson competing again after the Lakesman Long Distance race and Simon Leigh having a better race than last time.
There was also a good turnout of ladies with Fiona Cole, 60-64, 1:25:40, coming home first for the club followed by Honor Coombs, Samantha Hankinson and Tanya Peters.
