IT was a fantastic day for Dave Allen at the Northern Masters Athletics Championships at Bury Sports Stadium as he bagged three gold medals.
The Garsdale man won the 800 metres, 1500 metres and 400 metres races, a phenomenal effort by Allen, who is also a fell runner and the current British Open Fell Runners' Association V60 Champion.
