MEMBERS of Staveley Judo Club have been keeping busy over the last two months competing in three prestigious national tournaments.
In October, they travelled to Kidderminster to compete in the British Judo Association national kata championships, returning with one silver and two bronze medals
And in November, they travelled to Kettering to compete in the British Judo Council national kata and shiai (fighting) championship. This time they returned with two gold, two silver and three bronze in kata and one silver and two bronze in shiai.
