WINDERMERE Ladies lost 2-5 to a very lively Garstang 2s side in a rearranged Lancs Central Women's League fixture on Saturday.
Skipper Abbey Caroll scored from a first-half short corner and Mere's other goal was a clinically finished close-range effort by striker Kitty Brownell.
The original fixture was frozen off before Christmas.
The full fixture list resumes on Saturday with Kendal Men's 1s hosting Bury 1s and the Women's 1s travelling to Wilmslow 1s.
