Newly crowned Division One A Champions Carnforth rounded off a remarkable season with a comfortable right wicket win at Warton.

Carnforth who remained undefeated bowled Warton out for just 92 with Jack Thompson picking up figures of 3-18, before Chris Parry’s knock of 38 and Bradley Hoyles undefeated 32 saw Carnforth to victory after they closed on 94-2 off 20.4 overs.

In the other games Jason Bingley's knock of 55 and D Birch's return of 4-20 saw Arnside defeat Milnthorpe while Sedgwick saw off Silverdale by 41 runs.

Aaron Mason top scored with 33 in the first innings while Silverdale's Philip Mason returned figures of 5-21.

In Division One B Heysham defeated Burneside by 145 runs, J Antcliffe top scored with 64 while A Powers finished undefeated on 62 after the hosts closed on 233-6.

And Heysham eased to victory with Aaron Cross and A Powers taking 3 wickets apiece Burneside Captain Ben Leacock top scored with 54.

Craig Buchanen's 75 and Andrew Hills return of 5-20 saw Division One B Champions Westgate defeat Bare by 90 runs while Shireshead saw off Trimpell by 8 wickets.

Joe Oliver returning first innings figures of 4-10, while Thomas Jacques top scored with an undefeated second innings knock of 48.

Carnforth Seconds edged out Ingleton by 3 wickets in Division Two A, Ingletons Graham Kellett scored 95, but the visitors claimed the win thanks to Wayne Tomlinsons 33.

Bob Davies scored an undefeated 60, with Jan Jacobus Weir posting 59 in Cartmels 6 wicket win over Kirkby Lonsdale.

Kirkby Lonsdale’s James Royce top scored with 87 in the first innings, while Cartmels Jonathan Cooper claimed figures of 4-17.

And in Division Two B Luke Atkinson posted a century after Netherfield defeated Windermere by 158 runs. James Morgan also impressed where he returned figures of 5-16.
