CUMBRIA Taekwondo has received several generous sponsors from local companies as they move forward with their new Dojo.

Northern Power Tools & Accessories Ltd, Different Strokes Painting and Decorating and Kendal Discount Carpets have all contributed to the club.

Instructor Ryan Lightley said: “We’ve had a few local companies who have really helped us with our training equipment and with our new premises. It’s a tough time for local businesses at the moment, and we feel really grateful for them helping us out like this. We have got our hands on new pads, mitts and training equipment from their support. We can’t thank them enough.”
