KENDAL Town will be hoping the bad weather stays away as they host inform Warrington Rylands at the Mortgages by Mcateer Stadium.

Kendal’s losing streak has now run across their last six games, and their only win this year remains on New Year’s Day when they defeated Colne by one nil.

However, while some of the performances have merited better results the team’s difficulties in defending and keeping the score sheet clean continues to prevent impede their progress and prevents them fighting off relegation, a situation which continues to worsen weekly.

Kendal Town is preparing to face its next test on Saturday when they play one of the inform teams in the division who are third and just three points off league leaders Workington.

The visitors also have former Kendal Town player Joe Bunney within their ranks.

Joe played a small number of games for the club before he left to play for Northwich Victoria.

However, Joe made an even bigger move when he signed for Rochdale making 122 appearances between 2013-2018, before moving onto Northampton Town and then Bolton Wanderers under then manager Keith Hill.

Since that time, he has dropped back in non-league playing as a defender for this weekend’s opponents.

On the pitch Kendal will hope that Eric Yahaya can continue to score goals while Mason Cross is set for his home debut.
