BARROW-BORN Liam Livingstone will be hoping his side can get back on track against MI London at The Oval tomorrow.
Spirit skipper Livingstone saw his side come out on the wrong side of a tight clash with Trent Rockets on Sunday.
The all-rounder was in the runs once more as he weighed in with a score of 33, which contained three fours and one six from 24 deliveries.
He was ably supported by Dewald Brewis who hit 39, while Lhuan-dre Pretorius and James Rew, hitting 24 and 26 respectively.
That saw Spirit post a total of 159-9 from their allotted 100 balls.
In reply, the Rockets were indebted to England opener Ben Duckett, who blasted his way to 75 from 47 balls, a knock which included 12 fours and two sixes.
Livingstone prove economical with the ball, his five overs only going for 11 runs, but it wasn’t enough.
In an unusual turn of events Craig Overton hit his brother Jamie for six to seal a four-wicket victory for the Rockets.
