Kendal booked their place in the final of the 40 Over Cup following a dramatic 2 run victory against Garstang.
The Auld Greys, who play Chorley in the final, picked up the win against a strong Garstang team in a tense encounter.
Kendal posted a competitive 196-8 after Max Winskill top scored with 33, while knocks of 31 by Lewis Richardson and 29 from Brad Earl proved to be crucial.
Although 30 extras on top of Chris Miller’s undefeated 16 and Louis Backhouse’s undefeated 18 off 10 were also important for Kendal.
Garstang replied through L Madushanka’s 61 off 54 and N Nithian’s 55 from 58, however Louis Backhouse's 4-54 and Lewis Richardson’s 3-27 played an important role during the second innings, where Kendal bowled the hosts out for 194 off 39.3 overs.
Kendal, who were put into bat, suffered two early dismissals after Darren Nightingale picked out C Cater off the bowling of Madushanka, while Ian Walling bowled Finlay Richardson.
And when Ian Walling dismissed Sub Professional Evan Williams, Kendal were under some pressure at 52-3.
Max Winskill guided Kendal onto 77 before Winskill fell for 33 off 51 after picking out T Smith off the bowling of Ian Walling, while C Gorst saw off James Bowman.
Kendal continued to lose wickets when Ikram Ullah was caught by M Walling off the bowling of C Cater.
Brad Earl scored 29 off 37 with Earl falling to a catch by Cater from the bowling of T Smith, while Cater returned figures of 2-46 after dismissing Lewis Richardson, who fell for 31 off 28.
Chris Miller’s undefeated 16 and Louis Backhouse’s undefeated 18 off 10 saw Kendal close on 196 for 8.
Garstang saw M Walling and N Nithian put on a first wicket partnership of 69, however Kendal pulled the innings back when Louis Backhouse caught and bowled Walling.
The dismissal of Walling saw further wickets fall after Lewis Richardson claimed the key wicket of Nithian, who departed for 55 off 58 after he picked out Louis Backhouse.
Backhouse picked up his second wicket trapping E Collinson LBW, while Evan Williams caught and bowled T Smith, leaving Garstang on 110-4.
I Walling and Madushanka frustrated Kendal as Garstang edged onto 169, however Kendal turned the game in their favour after Chris Miller dismissed Walling, who picked out Max Winskill.
Kendal continued to gain momentum after Louis Backhouse picked up his third wicket trapping E Collinson LBW, while Evan Williams bowled C Cater.

On Saturday Kendal were in league action, defeating Carlisle by 2 wickets.
Sub Professional Daniel Salpietro’s first innings return of 4-38 and Louis Backhouse’s return of 3-31 saw Kendal bowl Carlisle out for 131.
However in reply Kendal edged to victory, closing on 135-8 off 38.2 overs, after Finlay Richardson top scored with 51 off 53, while Freddie Fallows undefeated 11 off 40 and Chris Miller’s undefeated 4 off 14 saw Kendal to victory, who closed on 135-8 off 38.2 overs.
Kendal are home to Blackpool on Saturday.
