The latest round of action in the West Lancashire League saw a frustrating afternoon for most of the teams from across the region.
Carnforth Rangers were the only team to pick up maximum points after the league leaders defeated Ulverston Rangers 2-0 to remain top of Division One.
Jack Johnson opened the scoring after 29 minutes before Lucas Pinngton's strike on 65 minutes sealed the three points against a strong opponent.
In the other games, Kendal County lost 3-0 to Eagley in the West Lancashire League Premier Division at Parkside Road.
The visitors opened the scoring six minutes before half-time when Finlay Stafford finished from close range.
Eagley doubled their lead eleven minutes into the second half when Stafford scored his second before Keean Chudoba’s goal on 72 minutes rounded off the win for the in-form visitors.
Milnthorpe Corinthians lost 5-0 to Tempest United at the Strands.
Tempest, who have conceded just four goals, were always going to be a difficult proposition for Steve Edmondson’s team.
And the visitors were 1-0 up on 24 minutes after James Dean scored before goals from Ste Ward, as well as a second from Dean, saw Tempest United take complete control.
Tempest scored their fourth three minutes before half-time with Josh Firth on target before Jordan Pendlebury’s goal five minutes into the second half rounded off a good display from the visitors.
Kendal United suffered a dramatic 4-3 defeat at Chipping where Frank Hine opened the scoring for Kendal United before Harris Bailey equalised for the home team.
Kendal United went 3-1 up following two quick-fire goals in the first half from Joe Hodgson before Chipping got back into the game following Joe Wood’s strike.
In the second half, Harris Bailey’s 61st-minute penalty saw Chipping equalise before Zac Wilson’s 92nd-minute goal saw the hosts claim a dramatic win.
