INGLETON made hard work of beating a Carleton side that was second best for most of the time when the sides met in the Craven Morrison Cup.
The Dales team went ahead through Jonathon Boadle and their second from David Whitfield was special, a great strike direct from a 25-yard free kick sealing their passage through to the second round on February 21.
Ingleton Reserves played in a Craven Junior Cup and created plenty of chances in the first-round replay against Cononley Sports Reserves for a deserved 4-2 win.
