Westmorland Football League Division One Carvetii Utd 4 Kendal Celtic 1 A BRACE from Andrew Wilkinson sealed the points for Carvetii United on a pitch that was barely playable.
United got off to the perfect start when Wilkinson drove the ball into the net after a goalmouth scramble, but Celtic equalised after 20 minutes with a superb free kick going in off the post.
In the second half. United darted out of the blocks and goals in quick succession from Scott Allison and Oliver Park gave the home side a 3-1 lead.
Wilkinson wrapped up the points with his second of the match by smashing the ball home after his initial shot rebounded off the post.
