KENDAL Town had to settle for a point in the 2-2 draw with Ossett Town in their Unibond Premier League Premier Division clash at Parkside on Saturday.

However, Town had to come back from a goal down twice to earn a share of the spoils.

Kendal fell behind in the first half when Ossett captain James Nettleton stabbed home from close range on eight minutes.

Kendal's loan signing Andy Bell equalised for Town on 26 minutes with a cool finish.

In the second Ossett retook the lead when Adam Clayton knocked in a second from close range.

Another of Town's loan signings, Rory Winter, from Morecame, then loosed a blistering strike from outside the penalty box to capture the draw, thpough the result will be seen as two points dropped on current form.

Next up is FC United of Manchester at Parkside Road on Tuesday night in their rearranged third-round, Unibond Challenge Cup match.
