BLACKPOOL'S last-wicket pair denied Netherfield the winning spoils in the Northern Premier League after the visitors had continued their impressive run-making exploits.
Netherfield made 258-6 off their 57 overs. Although pro Dale Benkenstein was out for a duck, Grahame Clarke made 84, Craig Walmsley 42, Chris Parry 46 and skipper Tommy Prime, batting at No. 7, 41 not out.
Blackpool were never near that target in reply and subsided to 141-9 with Benkenstein taking 5-65, Stuart Nixon 2-18 and Scott clement 2-28.
Kendal were beaten by St Annes at Shap Road, their seven-wicket defeat coming after pro Kabir Khan had hit a century out of their 220-8.
