KENDAL were left still looking for their first National League win of the season after going down to their eighth straight reversal of the season in a 26-3 defeat.

The first half was a tight affair with the home side going in 7-3 ahead. The first score saw Fylde cross the visitors tryline with hooker Craig McIntyre touching down and Mike Scott adding the conversion in the 14th minute.

On half time the visitors pulled three points back with an Andrew Boardley penalty goal.

In the second half it took Fylde eight minutes to double their lead with full back Richard Kenyon going over and Scott again converting. The third home try came on 65 minutes when flanker Andy Atkinson went over and Scott again added the extras. The all important fourth try came on 79 minutes with centre Paul Reeves securing the bonus point.
