KENDAL Town's top scorer this season, Keiran Walmsley, has signed a two-year contract with the Evo-Stik Premier Division club.
Walmsley bagged 17 league and cup goals for Lee Ashcroft's side during the 2010/11 campaign.
Walmsley, who is a specialist free-kick expert and boasts a thunderous shot, will play next season as "an attack-minded defender/midfielder", according to an announcement made on Town's website on Friday.
Town Chairman Haydon Munslow said: "Everyone at the club will be excited to hear that Kieran has signed for Kendal Town, showing his commitment to the manager and our ambitious plans to progress.
"Our dead-ball specialist will again trouble opposing defences when penalties and free kicks are awarded."
Walmsley joins young-guns Danny Williams and Jordan Tucker, who both recently signed contracts with the club.
