Hello, I hope everybody has had a good week, there are some good matches on in The Westmorland League this weekend. I hope some of you checked the photos I took from The Kendal Celtic vs Kendal County reserves cup match last Saturday, some of them didn’t come out how I wanted them to, but I hope they were ok.

Anyhow here’s a look at what’s going on in each division of The Westmorland League this weekend.

Division 1:

There’s only 2 league matches and 1 cup match going on this weekend in this division. The best thing to start with would be Kendal County’s home match with Lunesdale United in The High Sheriffs cup 2nd round. The match kicks off at 2pm and I will be taking photos of that match so look out for those.

Other fixtures include:

Greystoke vs Sedbergh Wanderers

Windermere SC vs Appleby: this is an important match as Appleby are chasing Kendal County and Windermere are no easy touch at any time especially at home.

Division 2:

3 matches to look forward to this weekend:

Ibis res vs Penrith Rangers: Probably the important match of the 3, Penrith are chasing top spot still and have games in hand so keep a look out for that.

Shap vs Wetheriggs Utd’s reserves, Shap are snapping on the heels of Kirkoswald, and could close the gap with a win here.

Sedbergh Wanderers vs Keswick reserves

Division 3

Appleby res v Lunesdale Utd res

Kendal Utd vs Endmoor KGR: match of the division: both teams playing well, score goals and look dangerous, good match to go and watch!

Division 4:

There’s a lot of teams competing for top spot,

Match of the weekend Kirkby Thore’s away trip to Milnthorpe, a win for Kirkby Thore would keep them top.
