It was good to be back on Saturday, for which was Town's 1st home game for 6 weeks!. The team looked very ring rusty at the weekend, and were below par by their standards. Matlock in fairness looked a good side, and I am sure if they play like they did on Saturday they won't be worrying too much about relegation.

Kendal were just a yard short all over the pitch really!, and without making excuses as such, I think the postponements that they have had haven't helped the team!, and i put alot of that performance down to the lack of consistent match action in recent weeks.

That said they dug deep and salvaged a point, however I think with the team having aspirations for a play off spot, they need to start converting their home form into wins!.

But at the same time I don't really want to be very critical as form like this tends too happen in a season! and it swings in round about's, and am sure Town will find their good form soon.

I thought Callum Warburton played well again and new signing Jordan Connarton took his goal well, and looks a handful, with Ashys tutoring i am sure he will be a star player in the Unibond Premier!.

Hopefully the weather wil go away for Tuesday night and I can talk about a Kendal win on Friday!.

Tuesday night the team are meant to be home to Marine in this rearranged Co Op Cup tie!. This match has been postponed on 4 seperate occasions because of the darn weather conditions and as i type this blog out it is raining again!. Both teams are so desperate to get this fixture out of the way at the moment! as the winners face a tasty match up at Conference North side Southport FC!. So theirs every incentive for the team to do well.

And finally after that match the team make the 4 horu trek down to Boston Utd for the Unibond Premier Division clash!. I will report in detail about that at the end of the week.
