Hello and welcome to my new Grass roots football blog. I started this up last season however I never really had the time or the understanding of the league to make a lot of comments on what was what.

However this season is different as I will be giving you my thoughts on the Westmorland Football League match I chose to go to. I may also do match reports and I will definitely be posting photos on this blog and on the Westmorland Football League forum.

If anybody would be willing to give me team lines ups or anything to do with the respective match I go too, that would be much appreciated as my aim for this blog is to give the Westmorland Football league a greater exposure.

There is good football played at this level and I want to try and highlight that fact via my blog, attendances for this level are respectable but more should come down and see the future talents on display.
