A DISQUALIFIED driver took to the wheel while almost ten times over the legal drug limit, a court has heard.
Thomas Andrew Majore, of Vulcan Way, Thornaby, was found by officers driving a BMW at 1.30am on Durham Road, Stockton, having taken cocaine and benzoylecgonine.
Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (December 16) heard the 32-year-old was tested at the police station on September 12 was and found to have 19 microgrammes of cocaine in his blood - with the limit being 10 - and 494 microgrammes of benzoylecgonine - almost ten times the limit of 50.
Sarah Traynor, prosecuting, said he admitted driving without a licence or insurance.
Majore pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified, driving while above a specified drug limit and driving without insurance.
The case was adjourned for reports to be prepared.
He will be sentenced at the same court on January 13.
