KENDAL'S new bridge on Gooseholme has been captured by a local artist.
Artist Robert Henfrey, who has lived and worked in the town since 1993 and has created several pieces of work capturing the stages of the bridge's construction.
He was present on July 20 when the bridge was lifted into place.
His art has depicted the progression of the project from various points of view and he is creating a series of sketches which will record the event.
