A BRAND new £1.2 million owners’ lounge named ‘Otter Lodge’ will be officially opened by the acting Mayor of Grange-over-Sands, Coun Tricia Thomas, at the Lakeland Holiday Park, Flookburgh, on May 2.

It will provide a place for the park’s 550 caravan owners to meet with friends, have a drink or a meal.

The Haven group has invested more than £4 million into the park over the past two years.

A brand new activity lake has been created along with more than 50 brand new lakeside caravan bases.

The site welcomes 25,000 families a year in addition to the 550 owners that visit the park every weekend in most cases.
