Morning raid on South Lakeland farm sees vehicle stolen

POLICE are appealing for information and asking members of the community to keep their eyes peeled for a stolen John Deere Gator.
Police say it is similar to a quad bike but with a roof on and it is yellow and green in colour.
It was stolen from a farm off of Sedbergh Road, New Hutton, at 05.50am today (May 17).
The registration plate is PO11KKW
Any information or sightings can be reported on the 101 number or at a police station.
Police added that they are advising people to check the security of their premises and property, and to be vigilant at all times.
They said doors should always be kept locked, keys and valuable property kept out of sight, and barns and outhouses kept secure.
