A TEENAGER was allegedly assaulted by a man outside a school in south Cumbria.

Police said an 18-year-old, who was walking with his 12-year-old cousin, was grabbed at the neck and pushed against the school's gate by a man in his 50s.

The incident occurred outside South Walney Infant and Nursery School, on Amphitrite Street, at 6pm last Wednesday (May 21), said police.
